Loom and Shuttle Guild will be sponsoring Martha Stanley for a series of four one day workshops over the next year. The focus of the workshops is the reproducing of the ancient Anasazi sandal. These sandals are admired for their beautiful symmetical designs as well as the sophisticated weaving structures used to make them. Space is extremely limited. This rug was made using some of the twining techniques Martha unraveled while studying the Anasazi sandals. The rug was shown at CNCH 2008 in Sacramento.
