Santa Cruz Handweavers Guild February Meeting

If you’ve wanted to know more about Navajo weaving, be certain to attend the next Santa Cruz Handweavers Guild meeting.  Guild member, Bambi Jones, will present a program about Navajo weaving.  Based on her studies with Marilyn Brandon at Cabrillo College and her work with native weaver Sarah Natani at Table Mesa, New Mexico, Bambi is an excellent resource for answering your questions about Navajo weaving.

Bambi will bring a selection of weaving tools and will demonstrate techniques on a warp in a loom and another warp that will be ready to put into the loom.  In addition, she will share a selection of native weavings that she has collected as well as her original weavings.
