Rachelle Giffen and Ken Gribble, local mushroom enthusiasts, join the guild to share their excitement of mushroom dyeing. Rachelle and Ken will take you through basic steps in gathering, identification, and will share information on several local mushrooms that are sure-fire dyers and where to find them. In the afternoon, we will look at the mushrooms members have brought with them, use them to practice identification, and get some hands-on-experience by firing up a couple of sample pots.
