The Advisory Council is pleased to announce the winners:

Area 3, Reba Siero (Treadles to Threads and Diablo Weavers Guilds)
Area 4, Susan Kerhouloa Davenport (Sacramento Weavers and Spinners Guild)
Area 5, Debbie Elliot (Tamalpais Textile Arts Guild)
We had 26 applications, double what we have had in the past. We have never awarded one to each area since we went to that sytem until this year. They were judged anonymously and it was a hard decision. Those who won seemed to have a clear vision of what they wanted to get out of the classes they planned on taking. Their award is for full registration. This award is not need based but I know those that won are pleased to be able to offset costs for the conference.
We will be posting the Convergence Scholarship soon. We are awarding one for $1000. Convergence 2014 will be in Providence, Rhode Island in July.
