News Update
Publication of the 2014 Competition Handbook (rules and requirements) has been delayed for a short time. We will send an announcement to our email list and post to our Facebook when and where the 2014 entry materials are published. In the meantime, here are some details about the 2014 California Crafts competition:
Entry Deadline: Friday, April 25, 2014
Entry fee: Entry Fee for the Handcraft and Fiber Arts and Needlework Shows is $10 per item (sets can be entered as one item). Entry Fee for the Quilt Show (Divisions 190, 193 and 195) is $12 per item.
Online Entry: All entries will be done online via secure website. Items to be judged will need to be shipped or delivered to Cal Expo (see calendar, below). For the Special Contests (Divisions 223 and 225) digital images will need to be submitted as part of the entry process.
Awards: The California State Fair will award Rosettes, Ribbons and Premium (cash) Awards plus there will be Special Awards donated by generous businesses and organizations (to be announced).
