Small Expressions is an annual, international, juried exhibition that features high quality, contemporary fiber art. The artworks showcase various fiber techniques such as interlacing, felting, paper, beading, and embellishing done on a small scale. All works are smaller than 15 inches (38 cm) in any direction.
The Small Expressions exhibition is sponsored annually by the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc., (HGA).
Nicole LaBouff, PhD, Assistant Curator of Textiles, Decorative Arts, Textiles, and Sculpture, Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA), is the juror.
