Lassen Guild is having a pine needle basket workshop this weekend, March 6th from 11-3 and March 20th from 11-3, at the home of Johnica Love in Cohasset, a small community north of Chico. The teacher is Dee Malone. She has over 30 years experience with basket weaving and wire wrapping.

She has shown her work all over the country and abroad and has had several articles written about her work. People are drawn to her work because of their color and playfulness and are then intrigued by their materials.

Meetings are held in the Francis Young Gallery at the Marin Art and Garden Center, Ross at 7 pm, on the 3rd Monday of the month. Guests and new members are welcome.
