Weave a Memory

Daryl Lancaster

3 hour workshop: Saturday 9-12

An unusual use for a time honored technique, this four shaft inlay structure can produce a powerful personal statement, capturing a memory by using printed images on cloth. Using step by step PowerPoint digital slides and demonstrations, learn to edit and print digital images on silk or cotton with an ink jet printer, cut them apart into strips, and reweave them back together in a four shaft structure with a ground cloth and tie-down threads. This is an extensive presentation on using image editing software (Photoshop Elements).
