Welcome to CNCH 2014, our 62nd annual of Conference of Northern California Handweavers, at Oakland Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.
Our theme for 2014 is BRANCH OUT WITH FIBERS. Weaving and spinning are still our roots with outstanding nationally known and highly regarded local teachers.In addition, we offer classes by superb fiber artists who bring new dimensions to fiber art through technology and new materials.
By popular demand, we have some twelve-hour classes which will allow participants to study one subject in depth. We also offer three, six and nine hour classes. Classes begin Friday afternoon and finish Sunday at noon.
We are hosting a broad range of vendors in our Market Place and offer extended Friday shopping hours.
With online registration you will instantly know your class schedule. For those without internet access, the registration form can be obtained from your CNCH liaison representative and mailed to the registrar.
We are an all-volunteer organization, and our conferences are presented for you as a member of CNCH. We hope you will support us by registering for classes, volunteering and supporting our vendors in the Market Place.
The Area Five North Coast Guilds: Humboldt Handweavers and Spinners, Mendocino Coast Handweavers, Redwood Guild of Fiber Arts, Silverado Handweavers and Spinners, Tamalpais Textile Arts Guild and Yokayo Textile Guild, have worked hard to bring this conference to you.
