Diablo Weavers meets once a month, Sept. – Nov. and Jan. – May on the third Friday of the month at the Thurman G. Casey Library, 2661 Oak Grove Rd. Walnut Creek, 10 AM. We encourage new members interested in weaving to join, or any interested guests at any of our meetings. Please check the newsletter each month to insure that we are indeed meeting at the library. Date/Location sometimes changes.

Oct. 28, 29, 30, 2011 Anita Luvera Mayer: Program and Workshop ”Vested Interest/Magic Pouch”. Friday morning meeting as usual with Anita as speaker. The workshop for participants continues in the afternoon, Saturday and Sunday. The workshop is now full.
Nov. 18, 2011 Bonnie Wells as speaker, “My Life in Cloth” Bonnie is an extraordinary dyer and cloth designer.
Jan 20, 2012 Docents from The Lace Museum in Sunnyvale CA will give a one hour presentation on the history of lace. They will bring plenty of examples and ask the audience to bring old lace pieces they would like some information on. This meeting will be held at a private club room rather than the Thurman Casey Library. Directions are in the Guild’s Website: diabloweavers.org
