The Silent Auction returns!

 

The Silent Auctions raise funds for CNCH scholarships, which are awarded to 1 person from each area.  A tradition of auctioning vessels full of fiber goodies will be repeated at our conference in 2024.  CNCH Grant Application

 

We are looking at our Fiber Roots during this conference. As each guild puts together an entry for the Silent Auction, take a moment and think about what that means to you.   You can gather the tools and fiber to help someone else establish new Fiber Roots.  Fill a spinning beginner’s box with fiber, or a weaver’s box with yarn.   Encourage someone to take up tapestry and fill it with goodies to feed that passion.  Natural dye or fiber reactive dyes, plus yarn to dye, are always appealing.  Add some tools and books on the subject, and you’ll have a box to be envied. 

 

And the best part is we just need the contents.  We have wine boxes that we will fill with all your items.

The dimensions of the boxes are approximately 13” L x 21” W x 4” H. 

 

Once your guild has the contents for the auction box, please write up a description and send it to Linda States at llmstates@yahoo.com. Linda will be happy to make a sign with a description that will entice people to bid on it. Important dates and other details are in the CNCH 2024 brochure.
