“Welcome to this special celebration at Pacific Textile Arts! This weekend’s program far surpasses my original expectations. Back in June I sent an invitation to five friends. I wanted to honor Jackie Wollenberg for sharing memories, tapestries, and each of our particular visions of the tapestry medium. The response was immediate and overwhelming. Within days other voices joined the main speakers. The result is a unique glimpse into contemporary tapestry by weavers who rank among today’s most knowledgeable and talented, while we also share memories of cherished times with Jackie. “
