2011 will be the second year the Glenna Harris Weavers Guild has elected to sponsor a sister guild’s membership in WARP (Weave a Real Peace). The Te Ixchel weavers live on the western side of Lake Atitlan in the area of San Pedro la Laguna. We are very pleased to have made this connection and have exchanged pictures and information with these talented weavers and would like to share their holiday card with you. This holiday season our guild has also volunteered to sponsor a Salvation Army kettle for a day and raised $300. Our success is possibly due to the strength of our bell ringing muscles that have been well exercised at our looms. We wish you all happy holidays.
